Local charity, Alive UK, which aims to provide emergency support for people in crisis in Norfolk, has launched an Easter egg and treats appeal with Chantry Place to give to local children and families this Easter.

The charity is asking people to donate delicious chocolate Easter eggs and treats at the collection point on the lower ground floor opposite Boots at Chantry Place before Sunday 2nd April.

Volunteers from the charity will deliver eggs and treats to the parents of the children in time for Easter.

Jo Thorne from Alive said: “At Christmas, Alive UK had a gifts and treats appeal and the generosity from visitors and retailers at Chantry Place resulted in 700 children receiving presents thanks to the support of our friends at Chantry Place. We hope that we can put smiles on hundreds of faces once again with our Easter appeal to support children in Norfolk.”

The charity has a permanent unit that is located on the lower ground floor next to Sports Direct and welcomes non-perishable goods which are donated to people in need across Norfolk.

Alive UK, supported by Alive Church, is a registered charity. To find out more visit www.alive.charity
