For 2022, we partnered with Fizzco Projects to create a brand-new Christmas display that is out of this world.

Fizzco Project’s ‘People in Purple’ created a luxurious display that included white and gold reindeer motifs and an 8 metre LED White and Gold glistening Christmas Tree with Santa’s bright red sleigh that was located on the lower ground floor. This set up created a fantastic opportunity for our visitors to use as a backdrop and take selfies with friends and family to create wonderful Christmas memories.

Outdoors on Chantry Square, the ‘Trio of Twinkling Trees’ added a modern design to Christmas lighting and created an outstanding and unmissable focal point for visitors to enjoy.

Our general manager, Paul McCarthy, commented: “Our new 2022 Christmas light display was a huge hit with our visitors, especially the 8 metre Christmas tree and Santa’s sleigh. The lights and selfie spots brought smiles to many faces and we saw lots of photographs being taken and shared. The Trio of Twinkling Trees on Chantry Square lit up the Square and created a magical and feel good festive atmosphere. Plus, we had reindeer lights in the Centre and our visitors enjoyed searching for the red-nosed one! Our Christmas lights created free magical moments for our visitors when visiting Chantry Place at Christmas and I’m really proud to say that we were one of the most festive looking spots in Norwich. We can’t wait for the display to return.”

Wendy Clarkson, Company Director at Fizzco, explained: “With many interactive elements from selfie points to finding the red-nosed reindeer, our display at Chantry Place created a fantastic space for visitors to make memories with friends and family and really feel the fun in Christmas. This display added the perfect modern twist to Christmas and we can’t wait to bring it back to Norwich for another year.

“The process included meeting with our team to discuss ideas, then we visited the shopping centre to map out the site and take photographs of each location involved in the display. From there, our design team drew out a vision and created proposal images for each location in the shopping centre to achieve the perfect display for Chantry Place.”

The display will be back for Christmas 2023 so if you missed it last year, don’t forget to head down there and enjoy the festive magic it brings!
