M&M Sweet Treats, a family owned local business specialising in baked goods, has opened at Chantry Place.

Following a run of successful pop-ups with us throughout the year, the owner has now invested in a permanent unit at Chantry Place, allowing visitors to indulge in delicious blondies, brownies, cookies, pies, millionaires and more, any day of the week!

Mandy Painter, owner of M&M Sweet Treats, commented: “What started off as a hobby has turned into a dream thanks to my family and loyal customers. I now have my daughter Abbie working alongside me, and she has helped each step of the way with putting the shop together. If someone had told me two years’ ago that I would have my own shop in Chantry Place, I would have laughed at them. It shows that if you have a dream, then work hard and make it come true.”

Paul McCarthy, our general manager at Chantry Place, said: “We know how much our visitors have loved the baked goods from M&M Sweet Treats throughout the year and supporting this local business. We are really pleased to have witnessed this success and for them to invest in a permanent store with us. The addition of M&M Sweet Treats follows on from an incredible year for us, which has also seen us welcome Urban Outfitters, Moda in Pelle and the stunning refit of Frasers.”

M&M Sweet Treats can be found on the lower ground floor of Chantry Place next to HMV.

The Norfolk business started in 2022, with the owners selling cakes at car boot sales for visitors to enjoy. From there, the business started going to other events and has grown since then.
