On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May, we will be welcoming Oh Europa, a campervan recording studio, to Chantry Square as part of the Norfolk & Norwich Festival.

Do you fancy recording a love song and potentially being broadcast on BBC Radio Norfolk? Then this is for you!

Since 2018, Oh Europa has travelled over 56,000km through 36 European countries asking strangers to sing a love song, and this May, they are coming to Norwich. They’ve recorded the voices of more than a thousand ordinary people, singing about love in 56 different languages. Could your recording of a love song be added to their archive?

You will be able to find the Oh Europa campervan on Chantry Square during Chantry Place opening hours, and all voices are welcome! So, why not sing an original or a cover?

Oh Europa is a labour of love; a project that spans a continent and cuts straight to the heart.

Norfolk & Norwich Festival is an arts festival held annually in the city and will be running from Saturday 13th May until Sunday 28th May. The Festival transforms public spaces, city streets, performance venues, parks, forests and beaches, bringing people together to experience the same brilliant and inspirational events. The world-class programme spans music, theatre, literature, visual arts, circus, dance and free outdoor events.
