Student Discount Day Coming To Chantry Place This October

On Thursday 5th October 2023, we are hosting an all day ‘student things’ discount event featuring up to 50 per cent off exclusively for students*.

Following on from the success of last year’s event which saw thousands of students at the Centre, the 2023 event will run for even longer this year from 9am until 6pm on 5th October. Plus, from 2pm there will be a free DJ and photobooth on the dining terrace for students to enjoy.

Chantry Place is home to retailers including Apple, H&M, Urban Outfitters and Zara, and some of the discounts at the event include 50% off at GBK, 30% off at Levi’s, free goody bags at Flying Tiger for the first 50 students, and the first 100 students at Lush can make and then take home a Lush bath bomb when they donate £1 to the Lush charity coin pot. Plus, visit our team on the lower ground floor opposite Boots to enter a competition to win one of three £100 Urban Outfitters vouchers and there will be spot prizes every hour for students who visit the desk.

Paul McCarthy, our general manager, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming students through the doors at Chantry Place for our special student event, including freshers new to Norwich, and showing them everything we have to offer. We’re still confirming all the fantastic discounts on offer from our retailers and will be putting them all on the Chantry Place website nearer the time. Some of these offers are one day only offers just for the event and our retailers have been really generous in some of the games, offers and free things they will be offering. Students just need to bring valid student ID with them and turn up on the day to enjoy everything on offer.”
