Why families love Chantry Place

Chantry Place is more than just a shopping Centre. It is a place to meet with your friends for a coffee, to buy a glam outfit for a special occasion or treat your loved ones to that special gift. It is a place to watch your children try on their favourite shoes, or try a new food dish for the first time. Chantry Place is a great day out for your family in Norwich.

With everything under one roof, including parking, there is a lot to discover here and many ways to keep your family entertained.

When visiting Chantry Place, you and your family definitely need to indulge in some shopping! We have household names including H&M, House of Fraser, Zara and River Island. From Build-A-Bear and Langleys to Claire’s and Smiggle, it is also home to many beloved children’s stores. So why not spend the day roaming the shops with your family?

If you’re not in the mood for a big shopping spree, or you just need a break from shopping, how about treating your family to a some delicious food? We have a variety of restaurants that you can visit whilst at Chantry Place, either for a sit down meal, a quick fix or just a grab and go treat!

If you want a nice sit down meal, then there are great choices in the Square, such as Wagamama, ASK Italian, Byron, GBK, YO! Sushi and The Real Greek. However, if you’re looking for a quick fix, there’s plenty of choice on our dining terrace, including McDonalds, KFC, Chopstix and Spudulike by James Martin. Or, if you’re just looking for a grab and go snack for your family, there is plenty of choice for yummy treats. Millie’s Cookies, Shaake, Krispy Kreme, Café Nero, BB’s, Costa and more provide a stop off for those family favourites.

Throughout the year, Chantry Place hosts or supports a number of events that get the whole family involved. Last year, we had T.Rex visitors at Chantry Place as part of the GoGoDiscover trail for Break, and saw many families visiting them! We will host some again this summer.

Another reason families love Chantry Place is because there’s always an opportunity for a lovely family picture. We had our magical stars during the festive period, but now our rainbow is back, sitting vibrantly in Chantry Square as it radiates hope and love.
