House of Fraser has temporarily closed its doors at Chantry Place Norwich to start work on some exciting plans and invest in its store at our Centre. While more detailed plans will be announced nearer the time, it has been confirmed that House of Fraser will reopen this Autumn at Chantry Place and Frasers, USC, Game Belong, a next evolution of Sports Direct and other great brands will be located in the refurbished store later this year. It will be incredible!

Paul McCarthy, our general manager at Chantry Place, said: “House of Fraser is one of our flagship stores at Chantry Place and, while it will be closed for a short time this year, we know that customers will love what it has planned when it reopens this Autumn, bringing some incredible brands to Norwich and really adding to the exciting retail mix we offer. Of course, this also means we will have a brand new premium tenant for Norwich ready to take the current Sports Direct store when they vacate to their new home this Autumn. As a Centre, we still offer everything under one roof, with brands from Apple to Zara, fashion, luxury jewellery, home and independent stores including Lisa Angel, not to mention all our wonderful restaurants and cafés. Plus, we have lots of free family events planned this year, including February Half Term, Easter and this summer we have something really special planned for families to enjoy.”

Following on from the opening of Breitling and Rituals at Chantry Place last year, and the recent opening of Bellyboos, Urban Outfitters is due to open at the Centre this year.
