It’s time to Rock Around the Christmas trees on Chantry Square

Are you ready to show off your moves this Christmas? We know how much you are loving our stunning trio of twinkling trees on Chantry Square so we have launched a fun competition – get ready to move!

For our Rock Around the Christmas Tree competition all you need to do is snap a picture by the trees, record yourself sharing a Christmas message at the location or, if you are brave enough, dance around the trees!

Running from Thursday 1st December until Sunday 18th December, you just need to submit your entry via Chantry Place social channels and tag and follow @chantryplacenorwich to be entered.

One lucky winner will win a family ticket to this year’s panto at Norwich Theatre Royal plus a £50 voucher to a shop of their choice at Chantry Place, and two runners up will each win a £50 HMV voucher.

We even had some of the Jack and the Beanstalk Norwich Theatre Royal pantomime cast, including casualty actress Amanda Henderson, dancing around our trees to launch it.

Paul McCarthy, general manager at Chantry Place, said: “This Christmas has been a huge hit with visitors who are enjoying our photo opportunities including new sleigh and trees, as well as all our wonderful shops and restaurants, and pop-ups. We’ve also been overwhelmed by the entries received for our ‘Place Your Wish’ campaign, running until 18th December, with 12 wishes being granted before Christmas Day, and the people donating to the Alive charity gift appeal. A massive thank you to Norwich Theatre Royal for coming along to launch our Rock Around the Christmas Tree campaign and we can’t wait to see all the entries.”
