Visit the Organ Donation team at Chantry Place

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals Organ Donation team will be at Chantry Place on September 28th to celebrate Organ Donation week.

They will be located on Chantry Square with lots of information and goodies to give away. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the Organ Donation team, ask questions, and find information out about the process.

Organ Donation Week is an annual campaign held in September (www.organdonation.nhs.uk). Right now, across the UK, there are more than 7500 people in need of an organ transplant. On average three people die every day in need of an organ transplant because there aren’t enough organ donors.

Organ Donation Week will be from Monday 23rd September – Sunday 29th September 2024 and the aim is to continue to raise awareness of the important need for families to talk about organ donation and for people to join the organ donor register to help save lives.
