Your autumn wishlist starts here

If you’re starting to embrace the autumn feeling, and want to bring some extra cosiness to your home – while treating yourself along the way, of course – then let us provide some inspiration to help you settle into the new season.

As the nights draw in and the temperature starts to drop, there’s something rather lovely about slowing down and enjoying cosy evenings at home. For many of us, thoughts turn to the new season’s TV shows, soft blankets, flickering candles and plenty of snacks.

So, whether you’re giving your home a seasonal refresh or simply looking for a few little luxuries to make those autumn evenings even better, here’s our ultimate guide to getting cosy this autumn.

Homeware:

  • H&M’s homeware is all about sumptuous textures and materials, in soothing neutral tones and berry shades. We love the great-value wool blend, boucle cushion cover in plum, for plenty of comfort and warmth without the hefty price tag.
  • We’re getting into soup and casserole season, and ProCook has got exactly what you need to cook up batches of your favourite warming dishes. Our pick is their cast iron casserole dish in burgundy.
  • Flying Tiger has plenty of tableware and accessories to make sure every dining experience has a nod to the season. We love the pumpkin-shaped jug and mug – perfect for Halloween parties.

Self-care:

  • Leave it to Lush to bring some iconic scents of the season to your bathroom, whether you’re having a quick shower or luxurious bath. We love the toffee apple bath bomb and faerie realm soap for soft skin and a treat for the senses.
  • Fill your home with warming scents thanks to Inside Story (found in TFG). Its collection of home fragrance products will bring a cosy atmosphere whatever the weather is doing. We love the Black Pepper and Pomegranate air and fabric freshener.
  • Rituals’ limited edition Uukumwe collection has been created for those restful evenings when you can fully indulge in some ‘me’ time. Spicy and warming, its fragrance will leave you feeling soothed and grounded. We love the hydrating body oil.

Kids during half-term:

  • With autumn brings half term, and Halloween of course! Keep your little monsters busy at home this half term with some fun activities and crafts from The Works, starting at just £1.
  • Find plenty of ghoulish gifts and terrifying toys at Langleys this autumn, the place to head to for a pocket-money splurge.

Loungewear:

  • Nothing says autumn more than cosy loungewear. Boux Avenue has the perfect selection of nightwear for those longer evenings and cooler nights.
  • Accessorize has a sumptuous range of soft bedsocks and slippers, so make sure you’re winter-ready. We especially love the faux fur boot slippers to keep your feet warm no matter how cold it gets.

Drinks & treats

  • Getting snug at home means you’ll definitely need a comforting, decadent hot chocolate from Hotel Chocolat. Check out their seasonal additions such as Pumpkin Spice and Spicy Maple.
