Saturday 4th April: Eggs-tra Special Easter Event

Looking for some Easter Eggs-citement on Easter Saturday? Chantry Place is the place to be!

Bring some variety to a trip to the city this Easter with a visit to Chantry Place. Easter Saturday will have plenty going on to keep little ones entertained, so whether you need to stock up on some spring essentials or fancy a delicious meal at one of our restaurants, combine it with some cracking family fun!

Saturday 4th April, between 10am – 4pm: whats going on?

Hop to it and get a chocolate egg! – The Easter bunny himself will be in the centre on Easter Saturday, handing out some early easter eggs. If you’re the lucky recipient of a golden egg, you’ll win a gift card! Find him in centre between 10am-4pm.

Free entertainment and a balloon character – Your kids will be transfixed by a free, 45 minute magic show and balloon modelling, on the hour every hour, starting from 10am-3.45pm. No need to book, just come along to the Dining Terrace – we can’t wait to see you there!

An extra reason to smile, free face painting – We’ll also have some talented face painters ready to give your little ones a spring-themed design, so head to the space outside Frasers between 10am and 4pm.

Around the centre:

Langleys Toy Shop – Head to Langley’s for a trail around their store, with every every entrant receiving a chocolate treat (while stocks last). Any Lego enthusiasts won’t want to miss their ‘make and take’ Lego event – where you can build an Easter Egg and take it home. Both taking place on Easter Saturday – 4th April.

The Works – Why not pop into the Works, they have got some great ‘screen free’ activities to keep everyone occupied, whatever the weather. Get everything you need for bonnet making to crafting and egg-hunt essentials.

Lush – If you pop into Lush this Easter holiday, they will be hosting some fun sessions including a Paddington Bear themed story and bath-bomb making session – complete with a marmalade sandwich!

Just a reminder that over the Easter bank holiday weekend, 3rd to 6th April, Chantry Place will have slightly different opening hours as per the below, except for Easter Sunday when we will be closed.

  • Good Friday & Easter Saturday – 9am to 6pm
  • Easter Sunday – Closed
  • Easter Monday – 10am to 5pm
