Whether you’re an online brand looking to go physical, a start-up ready to test the market, or a local business ready to grow, Launchpad could be your platform to reach thousands of customers and make your mark.

What you need to know:

• Chantry Place Launchpad is open to small businesses and start-ups in Norfolk, that don’t already have a premises
• You must be able to trade 5 days a week in a high-footfall shopping centre, and be open 9 am – 6pm Monday – Saturday and 10.30 – 4.30pm on Sunday
• Applications will be accepted from any business type or service provider
• Once the application period has closed, six finalists will be chosen and will have to pitch their business ‘Dragon’s Den’ style, to our panel of judges
• The final two businesses will be invited to trade at a pop-up within Chantry Place over a weekend in order for the public to vote for their favourite.
• The winner will receive the retail unit in between Flannels and Sports Direct, and won’t have any rent to pay for the six month trading period. CIM will sponsor signage, but the winner will be responsible for fitting out the shop.

Launchpad timeline:

19th March: Applications open
9th April: Applications close
15th April: Shortlist to 6
22nd April: Pitches to panel, down to final 2
2nd-4th May: Final 2 will have pop-ups in centre, voting begins
8th May: Winner is announced, shop refit commences
1st July: Official store opening
