At Chantry Place, we strive to provide an inclusive shopping experience for everyone.

You’ll find many accessible facilities at Chantry Place, including accessible toilets and 43 disabled parking spaces. Our Shopmobility service also provides free mobility scooters or wheelchairs.

Accessible toilets can be found on both the lower ground mall, opposite Boots, and on the dining terrace. To access the facilities you’ll need your radar key or you can ask a member of our team.

We also have a Changing Places facility which is located on the Dining Terrace. This provides a vital facility for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well as those with other complex needs.

Designed to the Changing Places Gold Standard, the facility includes a height-adjustable changing bench and a ceiling-mounted hoist system, compatible with users’ own slings. It also features a fully automated, height-adjustable wash basin and mirror, a privacy screen, and non-slip flooring — ensuring dignity, safety and accessibility for those who need it most.
Baby changing facilities are located on the lower ground level and the Dining Terrace.
We have 43 spaces reserved for disabled visitors. These can be found on both floors of our multi-storey car park, adjacent to the welcome halls. Please ensure you have a valid blue badge on display when parking in one of our accessible spaces and note that normal parking charges apply.
Assistance dogs are welcome in Chantry Place. We recommend your assistance dog wears a high-vis jacket or harness.
Our autism friendly trading hours take place every Monday between 4pm and 6pm. During this time noise will be kept to a minimum, lights dimmed and sensory stimulation reduced. Only essential and urgent announcements will be broadcast.
Equal Lives run ‘Shopmobility’ at Chantry Place, offering visitors the free hire of mobility scooters, wheelchairs or power chairs. Shopmobility runs from Tuesday – Friday and is located in the car park, on level -1. As well as a range of mobility aids you can also find an accessible toilet.
