At Chantry Place, your health and safety are our top priorities.

We are committed to providing a safe shopping environment for all our visitors.

Whether you’re here for shopping or eating, it’s important to us that each and every one of you feels welcome. With that in mind we have few simple house rules that we hope will keep everyone happy, please download here.

If you have lost personal items in Chantry Place and are still on-site please speak to a member of our team who will do all they can to help you locate it. If you have left Chantry Place and wish to speak to the team please call us on 01603 753344 and we’ll be happy to help.

If you find someone else’s property please hand it in to our team who will ensure it is stored safely.
Many of our team are trained in first aid skills and will assist you where they can. In an emergency please ensure you call the relevant emergency services as soon as possible while seeking help in the shopping centre.
Chantry Place strictly prohibits smoking and the use of e-cigarettes and vapes in both our indoor and outdoor areas.
Smoking is prohibited in any external area within 10 metres distance of the building. This includes balconies, terraces and other regularly occupied outdoor spaces. To make this clear we have installed no smoking signs at all ground level entrances.

The designated smoking area is set away from all entrances to Chantry Place and can be found on Malthouse Road.

Please note this smoking policy applies to members of staff, tenants, contractors and visitors.
Our security staff are here to ensure that Chantry Place remains a safe and friendly environment for all our visitors and staff. In addition to Security Officers patrolling the Centre, CCTV is also operational throughout the Centre and the car park and is monitored 24/7.
If you witness a serious crime and someone needs emergency assistance please call the relevant emergency services. If you feel that something is suspicious or just not right please report it to any member of the team wearing our uniform, or by calling our control room on 01603 753341.

We work closely with Norfolk Constabulary who regularly patrol the Centre as part of Project Servator. We have also partnered with Norwich Business Improvement District to help tackle and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour across the city.
We don’t allow the use of drones anywhere on Chantry Place property without express permission. This includes inside the Centre, within our retail partners’ stores, in our car park and on adjacent land, or anywhere else within the Centre’s periphery.
