Thousands attend the return of Student Night at Chantry Place

We held our anticipated Student Discount Night on Thursday 6th October 2022 for students in the Norfolk area and thousands attended the discount shopping event – we couldn’t hand out bags quick enough to everyone attending!

Retailers including Apple, JD, Schuh, Office, Levi’s, Lush, River Island, H&M, Bubble CiTea and Lisa Angel took part in the event, with discounts of up to 30 per cent and fun games, samples and goody bags given to students on the night.

Entertainment on the night included DJs and a photobooth.

We caught up with Paul McCarthy, our general manager, who said: “This popular event saw thousands of students at the Centre to enjoy the big discounts on offer and soak up the atmosphere. We last held a student event in 2019, so we were delighted to see so many turn out again with students from University of East Anglia, Norwich University of the Arts and City College in attendance. Of course, many of our retailers also offer discounts and incentives to students all year round.”

A competition is also being held on the Chantry Place website, until 14th October, for students to win £300 cash, plus Apple AirPods!*

*The winner must have a valid student ID to claim the prize. If unable to provide proof, the competition will be redrawn and given to someone with a valid student ID.
